Recommendation 12: “Promote the renovation passport”

1- Observation

To control their consumption and their bills, certain customers wish to invest in energy efficiency. For that purpose, they seek ways of carrying out an assessment of their building and their heating solution.

2- Recommendation

Provide more comprehensive guidance for customers to help them understand their energy consumption and the link between their building and their heating solution, lifestyle and customs. Then offer them, in ascending order of effectiveness, renovation/improvement packs for their home or heating installation (ideally, a prioritized action plan with financing plan proposals).
